Salem Surgery Center is a freestanding surgicenter conveniently located off Route 93 at Exit 2, on Stiles Road, in Salem, New Hampshire. We specialize only in surgery limited to procedures that can be performed on an outpatient basis. Open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
SSC is a freestanding surgicenter that opened for patients in 1986. The SSC performs procedures covering a variety of specialties such as: Dental, Orthopedic, Urology, Ear, Nose, and Throat, Plastic, Gynecology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Ophthalmology Surgery.
The goal of SSC is to provide personalized, quality patient focused care in a cost effective manner for both patients and their surgeons. These goals are met every day as patient survey responses prove patient satisfaction (see Patient Comments section).
The surgicenter is strictly regulated by the state and federal regulations.
The clinic is licensed by the NH Department of Public Health and is certified by Medicare. SSC is the first freestanding surgicenter in NH to be awarded accreditation status by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. This means that the SSC has met nationally recognized standards for quality health care.
